Organizational and Management Model of Smart Field Technology on the Arctic Shelf

This article analyses the activity of Russian oil-producing enterprises operating within the Arctic zone and focuses on the implementation of the "smart field"system (hereinafter - SF). The purpose of the study is to provide a conceptual justification of the features of the management processes of oil producing companies when implementing the SF system Research on SF technology and its implementation is insufficient, and therefore there is a need for deeper scientific understanding and economic feasibility of SF implementation. This technology is a leading direction in the development of digitalization processes in the oil industry. At the same time, the use of SF technology in the implementation of oil production projects in Arctic waters will significantly reduce the costs associated with ensuring the production process of field operations, reduce environmental risks and increase the efficiency of industrial development of fields containing oil raw materials. This article provides an overview of modern publications of scientists and economists dealing with the development of SF systems, presents the organizational and management model developed by the author's team for choosing the area of SF system implementation, and also presents a method for evaluating and calculating the economic effects of SF system implementation in this area. 2020 ACM.
