Description

With the increase of the age of the transport oil pipeline, leakages caused by corruption are often found. The public is paying more and more attention to the problems of environmental pollution and economic loss brought by leakage, so a detection system must be established to detect the leakage instantly and locate the leak point exactly. The application of wavelet in the leak detection system is discussed. The method of wavelet threshold value denoise was used to separate the characteristic inflexion of the negative pressure wave. The wavelet transform arithmetic was used to ascertain the inflexion exactly when using the negative pressure wave to locate the leak point. The general structure of the system is given. For different pipelines, the system of pipeline detection based on SCADA and the system of communication structure using WLAN are designed.
