At present, the application of big data analysis technology is developing rapidly. It has achieved remarkable results and benefits in the electricity business, the internet and other areas. But in the field of petroleum engineering, the big data analysis technology is still in its initial exploration stage. Based on the massive data of oil production database and applying methods of classification, regression and association analysis, this article analyzes factors of pumping system efficiency, finds out the key factors and their weights on pumping system efficiency that influenced by multi factors, and thereby determines the main factors of low system efficiency wells and puts forward the adjustment measures to improve the system efficiency. The conclusion has a guiding role on the production practice. Furthermore, this article summed up a set of big data analysis model which is suitable for the field of petroleum engineering. The model can also be used for reference and there will achieve great promotion in other oil fields. 2017 IEEE.
