Description

Existing technological trends in using of various types of gas motor fuel (GMF) on transport require more thorough control of the technical condition of motor vehicles running on GMF (compressed natural gas and compressed hydrogen) and infrastructure facilities. The main problems are related to the increased danger of gas motor fuel due to the occurrence of possible leaks and non-compliance with the requirements for the operation of gas equipment. The article discusses the causes of emergencies, measures to prevent them, the requirements for intelligent systems for monitoring and preventing accidents and disasters due to leakage of combustible gases GMF. To analyze the main causes of accidents on GMF vehicles and on infrastructure, the method of constructing and analyzing fault trees (FTA) is used. According to preliminary estimates, when creating and using intelligent safety monitoring systems (ISMS), it will be possible to reduce the probability of failures leading to GMF leaks on vehicles and objects of infrastructure by about 15-20%. 2022 IEEE.
