Description

Absorbers, regenerators and related pipelines in natural gas process plants contain coupled processes of multiphase flow, phase equilibrium, reaction equilibrium and energy transport. It is very difficult to analyze the complex process. To better adjust parameters and reduce energy consumption of the plants, interaction laws of parameters must be known. In this paper, we study the main element of energy consumption-the regenerator of amine solution by HYSYS. Effects of operational parameters of the regenerator on energy consumption and regeneration of amine are analyzed in details. Reference values of main parameters are given to provide suggestions of technology adjustment. 2022, Science Press. All right reserved.
