Description

Within any country, the safety of the citizens is a major concern. Since LPG is highly flammable and can create dangerous situations in life. To avoid such situations, this system modifies the existing safety system of LPG leakage detection. The primary aim of the research is to minimize the casualties caused by the leakage of Gas in indoor as well as outdoor environments by early detection of it and simultaneously monitoring the weight of the domestic gas cylinder as well as commercial cylinders. This system is IoT enabled which can sense leakage in the early phase and through weight monitoring system at the same time transmit data to remote location using SMS to the owner and near the authorized gas agency. IoT is basically a system of interconnected devices that can communicate and share real- time information from sensor to remote locations via internet. With the help of this technology, various devices can be controlled and can communicate with one another. In our system, gas leakage detects through gas sensor and also book a new gas cylinder from gas agency whenever the amount of gas is less than the threshold amount. Also, the data will be automatically updated on the server and can be accessed by the authorized person present in any part of the world. It provides real-time information for quick detection and offers a high level of accuracy in the detection of LPG gas. In the last part of the paper, security concern related to IoT technology has been discussed. The future gradation or scope of our system is mentioned at the end of this paper.
